The Tours Val de Loire Convention and Visitors Bureau is actively involved in building sustainable tourism in the region. We support and promote projects that are part of an eco-responsible approach and develop partnerships to better meet the expectations of professionals and customers.

  A SUSTAINABLE LABEL FOR ACCOMMODATION AND RESTAURANTS
  Since 2017, the Tours Val de Loire Convention and Visitors Bureau has been working alongside Clef Verte, the leading international sustainable tourism label for tourist accommodation and restaurants. In 2024, 24 establishments in Indre-et-Loire were awarded the label. Our aim is to increase the number of offers in the region. Accommodation and restaurant owners, contact us to take part in the Clef Verte day in early 2025. On the programme: meetings with the winners and practical workshops to get you started.

  Accueil Vélo and Loire by Bike
  TO PROMOTE ITS CYCLING AND TOURISM OFFER
  Developing the cycling offer is a key factor in attracting visitors to the region. The ‘Accueil Vélo’ and ‘Loire à Vélo’ labels guarantee quality services along cycle routes. They are national and international benchmarks for cycle tourists and provide visibility for certified tourism service providers.

  This label is a state mark awarded to tourism professionals who wish to make their establishment accessible to all sections of the public. It gives you the guarantee of an adapted welcome, trained staff and the opportunity to promote your approach thanks to the dedicated pictograms.
