    • CCI Touraine

      CCI Centre-Val de Loire, the bridgehead of the consular network, relies on the vital forces of the 6 departmental chambers to defend businesses, promote initiative, encourage the transfer of ownership and take part in the training effort. Its role is to anticipate, prepare and guide development policies.


      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: include the Office's participation in ‘The Place by CCI’ programme to support innovative projects, the CCI's participation in EvenTours and training for Office staff as part of the ‘Rencontres Performances’ programme (HR, Marketing or Sustainable Tourism themes).

    • Logo Tours Événements

      A key player in business tourism and MICE in the Centre-Val de Loire region, Tours Evénements operates and promotes two major venues: the Parc Expo and the Palais des Congrès de Tours.


      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: include participation in trade fairs aimed at MICE targets (e.g. Pure Meetings or Heavent Cannes) and co-organisation of EvenTours, the trade fair dedicated to professional events in Tours.

    • Logo Crédit Agricole de la Touraine et du Poitou

      The Crédit Agricole de la Touraine et du Poitou Regional Bank covers the 2 départements of Vienne and Indre-et-Loire (with a combined population of 1,050,000) and has 1,500 employees working in 142 branches and 2 head offices (in Tours and Poitiers). Energy transition, health, innovation and tourism are the 4 major growth drivers for this mutual bank.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: co-organisation of the Open de Villandry, a friendly lawn tennis event for businesses in the gardens of the Château de Villandry, and support for the specific offers and support initiatives put in place by Crédit Agricole for tourism professionals.

      Excelia Business School is Excelia's Grande École of Management. It offers courses from Bac to Bac+5 and is ranked among the best business schools in the world by the Financial Times. The school offers Bachelor Business, International BBA (AACSB and EQUIS), Master Grande École (triple crown: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA) and Master of Science (MSc) programmes that prepare students for careers in finance, marketing, human resources and management and in key corporate functions, in France and abroad.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: include leading student working groups, acting as judges for the Excelia competitions and taking part in courses on tourism issues.

    • Logo Camping-Car Park

      CAMPING-CAR PARK has more than 600 sites and campsites in Europe, close to tourist attractions and accessible all year round, 24 hours a day, thanks to an access card.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: promotion of Opération Noël au Pays des Châteaux and offers for Camping Car Park users at Villandry's restaurants and shops, a working session to improve the quality of the welcome for motorhome users at the rest areas and throughout the destination, discounts on certain tourist offers on presentation of the Pass'Etapes card.

    • Rémi SNCF

      The Region is responsible for organising all your non-urban public transport in the Centre-Val de Loire. The REMI network is the name of the multimodal network organised by the Region, comprising Rémi Express trains, Rémi trains and Rémi coaches, which include the former TER coach lines, regular inter-urban lines, transport on demand lines and school transport lines within each département and outside urban areas.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: promotion of rail mobility, payment of Paris-Tours tickets for Parisian professional event organisers as part of EvenTours, discounts on certain tourist offers on presentation of the Rémi card.

    • Logo Clef verte

      The 1st ecolabel for tourist accommodation and restaurants. Hotels, campsites, self-catering cottages, furnished tourist accommodation, bed and breakfasts, tourist residences, holiday villages and centres, youth hostels and restaurants are all committed to a high-performance environmental approach, with the aim of constantly moving towards the best practices recommended by the Clef Verte ecolabel. Developed in France since 1998, the Clef Verte label is the leading ecolabel for tourist establishments in France, both in terms of the number of establishments awarded the label and its long history.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: one day a year to invite accommodation and restaurant operators to sign up to the scheme, and ongoing promotion of the scheme.

    • Logo Touraine Hôtels

      Touraine Hôtels is a hotel club, an association under the law of 1901, which brings together 60 2-3-4 & 5* hotels. 10 hotel managers run the club on a voluntary basis throughout the year and are in constant contact with institutions and professionals in the business and leisure tourism sectors. For 30 years, the Touraine Hôtels association has been working to promote the region's hotel industry.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: market trend discussion days, a ‘1 night bought = 1 night free’ campaign over the winter period and trade fairs to promote the Tours Val de Loire destination to MICE targets (EvenTours and La Loire se Met en Seine).

    • Logo Opéra de Tours

      Every year, the Grand Théâtre de Tours presents a season of operas, symphonies and shows for young audiences, as well as recitals and chamber music concerts. With its permanent choir, it has also been home to the Orchestre Symphonique Région Centre-Val de Loire/Tours since 2002. The Grand Théâtre is directed by Laurent Campellone.

      Some of the initiatives undertaken together: guided tours of the Opera for individuals and groups and professional events organised in certain areas of the Opera.

    • Logo APST

      Set up in 1964, the Association Professionnelle de Solidarité du Tourisme (APST), created by tourism professionals, brings together natural or legal persons operating in the tourism sector, subject to the provisions of the Tourism Code, who sell or offer for sale tourist packages or travel services as part of their professional activities, or who facilitate the purchase of related travel services by travellers. All travel operators must take out a financial guarantee. This obligation protects travellers in the event of the agency's financial failure. Recognised by all professional and public institutions, its articles of association, approved by the Minister for Tourism and the Minister for the Economy and Finance, enable it to act as the collective guarantee body referred to in II of article L.211-18 of the Tourism Code.
      Tours Tourist Office has been a member of the APST since its inception.
