Take part in a family investigation at the Fine Art Museum with a visit to the exhibition "Le Sceptre et la Quenouille. A little further afield, the Musée de la Préhistoire du Grand Pressigny presents the evolution of Man and his way of life over 200,000 years. A real paradise for little archaeology apprentices, who won't be left speechless in front of the life-size mammoth, and can go back in time with initiations in Neolithic pottery or musical instrument making.
All workshops must be booked in advance.
Admissions to Tours museums is included in the Tours City Pass.
Oyé! Oyé! Travel back in time on an immersive guided tour led by guide Noémie, who plays the role, in period costume, of the daughter of a former militiaman who left for the Crusades in the early 13th century. With her, you'll explore the former Martinopole of Tours and sweep away preconceived ideas about the place of women in medieval society. A fun, historical tour for young and old alike.
